It’s been a while, I know and I’m sorry but life has it’s way of creeping up on you and keeping you busy right?
I have to say that days fly by lately but now I’ve been struck by some kind of flue once again so now that I’m stuck in the sofa I thought I’d share some updates on how things are going.
As far as Farina goes, I’m really in love with that horse! Now she is actually pretty much resting and gaining weight on vets advice. She was way too thin and her muscles not developed enough so needed to be dewormed and get a bit fatter before I could start some more intensive training.
So she is getting some rest and very very limited training. She is however getting better and better everyday. She is starting to get a real nice tummy and she looks more healthy already. Also I put her with our Shetland pony now because my other mare was always chasing her which stressed her and now she plays with the pony a lot which gives her some natural exercise.
When I happen to catch her playing in the pasture I am always stunned by her movement and not only me, people actually stop their cars to look at her because she really is stunning when she starts using that power of hers! Her trot is beautifully elevated and her canter is so stretched, yet balanced for such a young horse.
I’m eager to start riding her again and use that power constructively. 🙂
Besides the horses I’ve been working on my coaching business and working really hard to get a business model and make my website so if you are interested you can always have a look, but it is only in Dutch so far, translations should be up by December: www.wendyjoris.eu
I basically give Business and Relationship coaching and I have been studying with Tony Robbins through the Robbins & Madanes training system. It is a real passion of mine to help people and I also tremendously enjoy it.
So this is a small update for where I’m at right now, there probably will be some more posts once Farina and I get back to play, that horse is so interesting and I think it is very useful to post our progress as well for others as for me to go back and have a look.
Thank you sweet readers and hear you soon,
